ラダーバックチェア The Ladderback Chair re-do

I bought these ladder back chairs at one of my favorite furniture stores in San Diego. $60 for two. Another DIY project for me;) I chose this fabric below in the picture. I like the pattern because it has the kind of... the same curves as the ladder part on the chair. I think it is fun! Anyway...my husband helped me to fix some of the crack on the wood parts. I couldn't find any paint I like from the sample, so I made the color by mixing up with some of the paint I had in the garage. The sheen was flat, so I brought it to Home Depot and had them make the Hi-gross version of it. They do great matching the color. I inserted the brand new form and put the fabric on it. Finally, put them back all together. I can do this again, again, and again. I think I am officially addicted to cute chairs;)


去年の秋、お気に入りの中古家具屋さんでこんなイスに出会いました。

数箇所にヒビが入っているのを気がつきましたが、簡単に直せるような感じだったし、お値段もリーズナブルだったので２つセットで購入しました。

背もたれのデザインに一目ぼれ。

修理した部分をパティで埋めたりした関係で、ニスだと直した部分が浮き出して見えそうだったので、今回はペンキ塗装することにしました。

選んだ生地はこちら。Fabricguru.comでゲットしました。背もたれのカーブと生地のパターンが似ていて面白いかなと。。ペンキの色は、サンプルの中で気に入ったのが見つからなかったのでカスタムで混ぜて作りました。生地の色合いの合わせて、黄色と緑が効いたアイボリーです。

仕上がったときに、初めて腰を下ろす瞬間がたまりませ～ん。。（病み付き）

座ったときの、新しいクッションの感触が心地よいです。
