バレルチェア The Cane Chair re-do

I found this cane chair at a thrift store. It was priced $40, but since it was Labor day weekend that day, all the furniture was 50% off. Included tax, it was only $20. (Lucky me!) I just love this look. The estimate for reupholstering was $250 by pro (excluding fabric). It was over my budget, so I decided to do it by myself. I wanted this chair to be simple, yet fun. So...I used Brown faux leather for the back part, and beige suede for the sitting part. The color is neutral, I think it goes any color of the decor in my house. It cost me $90 total, and I am happy with the result;)

Thrift Storeで20ドルで購入したバレルチェア。
Upholsteryの専門店UFOで、生地の張替えの見積もりをしてもらったところ250ドル(生地なし）とのことでした。
予算オーバーなので、自分でやってみることにしました。

いっそのこと、全体をリメイクすることに。
欠けてる箇所を修正し、ペンキで塗装。


包みボタンも自分で作ろうと試したのですが、生地が厚くて上手くできなかったので、UFOへ駆け込みしてつくってもらいました。スタッフのお兄さん、相談するといろいろと教えてくれてありがたいです。


背もたれの部分はFaux Leatherで、座る部分はSuedeにしてみました。

2色、、、最初は半信半疑でしたが、色がニュートラルなのでそんなにﾊﾃﾞﾊﾃﾞにならずにすみました。

これがきっかけで、只今イスのリメイクにはまり中です。
